① The Mall displays these Terms and Conditions and the operator identification and contact information required by law. This information includes the registered business name, representative, business address, customer contact details, business registration number, and, where applicable, mail-order business registration information. These Terms and Conditions may be displayed on a linked page.
② Before users agree to these Terms and Conditions, the Mall provides a separate linked page or pop-up allowing them to review important information, including withdrawal rights, delivery responsibilities, refund conditions, and service-specific rules.
③ The Mall may amend these Terms and Conditions to the extent that such amendments do not violate the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Personal Information Protection Act, or other applicable laws of the Republic of Korea.

⑤ Amended Terms and Conditions apply to contracts concluded on or after their effective date. Previous Terms and Conditions apply to contracts concluded before that date unless the user and the Mall lawfully agree otherwise.
⑥ Matters not addressed in these Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable laws. Users’ statutory rights to withdraw, cancel, or receive a refund take precedence over these Terms and Conditions and any separate service operating policies.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
① The Mall provides information about Goods and Services, concludes purchase and reservation contracts, delivers products, provides contracted services, processes donation payments, and performs other activities determined by the Mall.
② If Goods and Services become unavailable, are sold out, or undergo changes in technical specifications, the Mall may modify what it offers under future contracts. The changes and their effective date will be announced on the relevant page.
③ If a change affects an existing contract, the Mall promptly notifies the affected user. Unless otherwise permitted by law, material substitutions or changes to contracted products or services require the user’s consent.
④ If the Mall cannot provide contracted Goods and Services, it processes cancellations and refunds under these Terms and Conditions and provides compensation where legally required.
Article 5 (Service Interruptions)
① The Mall may temporarily suspend services for equipment maintenance, replacement, repairs, communication failures, or other technical reasons.

③ In the event of business closure, a change in business activities, a merger, or another significant change, the Mall notifies users and handles existing contracts and outstanding payments in accordance with applicable laws.
Article 6 (Purchase and Reservation Requests)
① Users may select Goods and Services, enter the information necessary for the transaction, review these Terms and Conditions and the applicable delivery, cancellation, refund, and service conditions, confirm their request, and select a supported payment method.
② The Mall provides transaction information in an understandable manner and allows users to review and correct their requests before completing the transaction.
③ When providing personal information to third parties or outsourcing its processing, the Mall complies with applicable disclosure, consent, and other legal requirements. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy and any necessary separate notices.
Article 7 (Formation of Contracts)
① The Mall may reject a request if it contains false information or omits material information, involves a transaction prohibited by law, or presents legitimate technical or operational difficulties preventing acceptance.
② When entering into a transaction with a minor, the Mall informs the minor, as required by applicable laws, that the minor or their legal representative may cancel the contract if the legal representative has not consented.
③ A contract is formed when the Mall’s acceptance reaches the user. For reservations requiring separate approval, the relevant page explains when the reservation becomes confirmed.
④ Acceptance includes confirmation of the request, the availability of the Goods and Services, and information on correcting or canceling the request.
Article 8 (Payment Methods)
① Payments may be made by bank transfer, debit card, credit card, electronic payment services, or other payment methods supported by the Mall and displayed at checkout.
② Unless permitted by law, the Mall does not impose additional fees solely because of the payment method selected by the user. The total payment amount, applicable taxes, and any additional costs are displayed before payment.
Article 9 (Acknowledgment of Requests, Changes, and Cancellations)
① The Mall provides users with an acknowledgment after receiving their request.
② If the acknowledgment differs from the transaction intended by the user, the user may request a correction or cancellation. Requests received before shipment are processed without undue delay.
③ Articles 11 through 13 apply to shop order cancellations, exchanges, returns, and refunds. Articles 20 through 22 also apply, where relevant, to venue rentals, workshops, and donation payments.
④ Requests for exchanges, returns, cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes must be submitted to info@thesal.org. Users must include their order or reservation details, the applicant’s name, and a description of the request. For defective products, attaching clear photographs will help with processing.
Article 10 (Supply of Goods and Services)
① Unless a separate supply date has been agreed with the user, the Mall takes the necessary steps to supply Goods and Services within 7 days of the request or, for prepaid transactions, within 3 business days of receiving all or part of the payment, in accordance with applicable laws. These periods concern the steps necessary for supply and do not guarantee delivery within those periods.
② The Mall provides information on delivery methods, shipping costs, and estimated delivery times. For reservations and workshops, the scheduled service date, time, location, and other important conditions are disclosed before the transaction.
③ Supply delays or an inability to supply are handled in accordance with applicable laws, including compensation where required.

② For prepaid transactions, the Mall issues a refund or takes the necessary refund measures within 3 business days of receiving payment, in accordance with Article 15 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. The Mall does not delay action after becoming aware that supply is impossible.
③ If the Mall cancels or cannot provide a product or service for reasons attributable to it, the Mall issues a refund and provides compensation where legally required.
Article 12 (Shop Order Cancellations, Exchanges, and Returns)
① Limited-release products may be subject to purchase quantity limits, which are announced before purchase. Orders exceeding these limits or available stock may be canceled based on the order in which payments were completed. Users will be notified of cancellations and refunded.
② To ensure faster and more accurate processing, the Mall does not offer direct exchanges. To exchange an item, please request a return for the original order and place a new order for the desired product.
③ Please request a return within 7 days of delivery by emailing info@thesal.org. The return address and collection instructions will be provided after the request is received.
④ Return shipping must be arranged through the Mall. Items sent back without prior approval will automatically be returned to the sender.
⑤ Please securely repackage the product with all included components to prevent damage during transit and hand it to the collection courier.
⑥ Returns are not accepted in the following cases:
a. The product shows signs of use, including stains, damage, washing, odors, or changes to its original shape.
b. Missing components, such as tags, packaging, or hangers, have caused the product to lose its value.
c. A return request was not submitted within 7 days of delivery.
d. The product was purchased on sale.
⑦ For defective or incorrectly delivered products, please also contact the Mall within 7 days of delivery to help resolve the issue promptly. For an exchange or replacement, please email info@thesal.org.
Article 13 (Shop Refunds and Shipping Costs)
① The Mall refunds the payment within 3 business days of receiving the returned product.
② Once a refund for a card or electronic payment is approved, the Mall processes the payment cancellation. The time it takes for the refund to appear in the user’s account may vary depending on the card issuer or payment provider.
③ Users are responsible for shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. If the original shipping cost will be charged when returning an order delivered free of charge, the conditions and amount are disclosed before purchase.
④ The Mall covers shipping costs for exchanges or returns resulting from defective or incorrectly delivered products.
⑤ If a return cannot be accepted or any charges apply after inspection, the Mall explains the reason and the amount.
⑥ No cancellation penalty or compensation for damages is charged for a valid statutory withdrawal, other than applicable return shipping costs.
⑦ For services or undelivered products subject to a statutory right of withdrawal, refunds are processed within 3 business days of withdrawal. Other refunds are processed within the applicable statutory deadlines.
⑧ If a refund is delayed beyond the statutory deadline, the Mall pays late-payment compensation at the rate prescribed by law.
Article 14 (Protection of Personal Information)
① The Mall processes only the personal information necessary for the relevant purpose and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.
② Details regarding the information processed, purposes, legal grounds, retention periods, third-party disclosures, outsourced processing, destruction, security measures, and users’ rights are provided in the separately published Privacy Policy.
③ The Mall obtains legally required consent and provides separate notices where necessary. Agreement to these Terms and Conditions does not replace any separately required consent for personal information processing or marketing communications.
Article 15 (Obligations of the Mall)
① The Mall complies with applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions and makes reasonable efforts to provide Goods and Services reliably.
② The Mall takes legally required measures to protect personal information and payment-related information.
③ The Mall is liable, to the extent required by law, for losses caused by unlawful or misleading advertising.
④ The Mall does not send advertising communications in violation of applicable laws.
Article 16 (Obligations of Users)
Users must not enter false information, use another person’s personal information without authorization, alter information posted on the Mall without authorization, transmit unauthorized programs, infringe intellectual property rights, unlawfully interfere with or infringe upon the Mall’s operations or the rights of others, or post illegal or otherwise prohibited content through the Mall.
Article 17 (Copyright and Use of Content)
① Unless otherwise stated, copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Mall belong to the Mall. Rights in third-party works belong to their respective owners.
② Except as permitted by law, users must not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, commercially exploit, or allow others to use the Mall’s protected content without prior permission.
③ Any use of a user’s work is subject to applicable laws and the agreement with that user. Purchasing a product or participating in a workshop does not itself transfer intellectual property rights.
Article 18 (Dispute Resolution)
① The Mall provides a procedure for handling user inquiries, complaints, and disputes through the customer contact details displayed on the website.
② The Mall makes reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly. If an immediate resolution is difficult, it explains the reason for the delay and the expected handling procedure.
③ Users may apply for mediation through a competent consumer dispute mediation body or another authorized institution.
Article 19 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
① Jurisdiction over disputes between the Mall and users is determined in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Korea.
② These Terms and Conditions and related transactions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any mandatory legal provisions applicable to a transaction take precedence.
Article 20 (Venue Rental Schedule Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds)
① Cancellation requests received at least 7 days before the rental date qualify for a full refund.
② Cancellations and refunds are not available 6 or 5 days before the rental date. Only schedule changes are permitted during this period.
③ Schedule changes, cancellations, and refunds are not available from 4 days before the rental date through the rental date itself.
④ Schedule changes are subject to availability on the requested date.
⑤ Reservations for which a tax invoice has been issued may be rescheduled once, subject to availability, provided the request is submitted at least 5 days before the rental date. Issuing a tax invoice does not itself restrict refund rights. Any necessary tax invoice adjustments are processed when a refund is issued.
⑥ These deadlines do not restrict statutory rights to withdraw, receive a refund, or terminate a contract, or rights arising from the Mall’s failure to provide the agreed facilities.
⑦ Deadlines are calculated using calendar dates in Korea Standard Time (UTC+9), excluding the rental date. Requests must be submitted to info@thesal.org by the applicable deadline.
Article 21 (Workshop Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers)
① Before the first class begins, users may request a full refund or transfer to the following month’s workshop. Transfers are confirmed subject to the workshop being offered and space being available.
② For cancellations requested after the first class ends and before the second class begins, half of the paid tuition is refunded for a three-session course, and two-thirds for a four-session course.
③ After the second class ends, refunds are not available under the standard operating policy. However, any separate refund requirements prescribed by law take precedence.
④ Refunds are calculated based on the classes that have taken place by the time the cancellation request is received, rather than the user’s actual attendance.
⑤ Requests received during a class are handled based on the instruction time elapsed and applicable statutory refund requirements.
⑥ The same standard policy applies to cancellations due to injury or illness. This does not limit statutory refund rights or the Mall’s liability.
⑦ Each course follows its announced number of sessions and schedule. If a course continues into the following month, the refund calculation does not restart simply because the calendar month changes.
⑧ If the Mall cancels a workshop or cannot provide an agreed class for reasons attributable to it, the Mall provides refunds and any required compensation. If a material schedule change occurs, users will not be required to accept a substitute class instead of a refund to which they are legally entitled.
Article 22 (Donation Payments)
① Before payment, the Mall provides information on the purpose of the donation, the amount, and any benefits offered.
② Voluntary donations cannot be canceled or refunded once payment is completed. Exceptions apply when duplicate payments, payment amount errors, or unauthorized payments require correction, or when a refund is legally required.
③ Payment error, cancellation, and refund inquiries must be submitted to info@thesal.org.
④ Donation receipts may be issued for eligible donations. Eligibility and application procedures can be checked on the donation information page or by emailing info@thesal.org. Not all donations qualify for tax credits.
