5 is SAL's official merchandise line.

The name is derived from the five layers of the epidermis (Basale, Spinosum, Granulosum, Lucidum, and Corneum).
Beginning with the deepest layer, Basale, and extending outward to the outermost layer, Corneum, each of these layers is preceded by the word "Stratum.
"The five S's are symbolized by the number 5.

Like the layers of the skin, 5 is another language imbued with SAL's identity and sense of movement.
More than a product line, it is a layer of the body's surface and a way of extending SAL's movement and philosophy beyond the stage.

5 consists of apparel and various goods designed with the physical awareness and practical needs of dancers in mind, naturally connecting everyday life and creative practice.
